Over the past 2 years I've been working on developing and improving FCUW's instagram. As Tournament & Event Coordinator in my senior year, I had direct control and leadership over our team socials and marketing. I created a style guide for FCUW for future board members, and have used it to remind myself of our style and goals. The FCUW instagram almost doubled in followers during the 2022-2023 season, from under 100 to almost 200. The page also has more interaction: comments, likes, and shares.
The club has also increased its recruitment and fundraising efforts. I designed 2 posters for the clubs advertising it to new members in the fall semester; printing and posting the flyers in the student unions, dorms, and other academic buildings. I also created promotional flyers for members to share when we do our fundraisers. The page contains 3 main types of post: informational posts (keeping members updated on practice times and events), promotional flyers (recruitment for the club), and Tournament Results and Updates (rosters for each tournament and the squad results after the event).
